Can you Imagine the City of Roswell Georgia in 2030?
Roswell, Georgia is a small town located just North of Atlanta. It was historically a textile town, hosting one of the oldest Textile Mills in all the South, on the bank on the Big Creek, near the Chattahoochee River. The Roswell Georgia of today thrives from its' location as neighbor to the City of Atlanta. Many of the Residents work in the neighboring city, and commute in and out of the City each day. Roswell has gone from small time Georgia "mountain-town" to "bustling mecca bursting at capacity" city in less than 20 years.
Now, its time to PLAN for the NEXT 20 years:
A comprehensive plan will provide Roswell with a vision for the future – how we, as a community, want to grow and mature. The plan will also provide direction, tools and strategies so that future development will reflect our shared values and long-term goals for a vibrant, thriving Roswell.
Active, ongoing and meaningful citizen involvement is essential for Roswell’s 2030 Comprehensive Plan to be successful.
Community meetings will be held across the City to provide residents and stakeholders with the opportunity to review and provide input on the Plan.

■Community Meeting/Kick-Off* – November 3, 6:30 p.m. at Roswell City Hall
■Community Meeting* – January 19, 2011, 6:30 p.m. at East Roswell Park
■Community Meeting* – January 27, 2011, 6:30 p.m. at World Harvest Church
■Focus Area Workshop – February 22-24, 2011, Times TBD at Hembree Park
■Open House – March 12, 2011, 9 a.m.-noon at Roswell City Hall
